Welcome to Abracadabra Speech!

Updated: Dec 23, 2020

Hello, my name is Shaaron Jackson. I grew up in Anchorage during the 60’s and 70’s, it was exciting to see the first McDonalds built; during that time Spenard was its own little town (it had not been annexed with Anchorage). In my early years, I went to Fairview Elementary School and East Anchorage High School, I have been an Alaskan, since the age of 5.

Throughout my life, dancing, roller skating and watching movies have been my major sources of entertainment. My adventures have taken me to all 50 states and 15 countries. It is fascinating seeing people all around the globe and listening to different languages.

Recently, I became a member of the Alaska Black Caucus, I am interested in reducing the education access gap of minority children. Everyone should have access to a decent education. My goal is to work to make a better world.

This blog will reflect my life’s experiences and travels. I have explored many different cultures and languages. This exposure has made me a better speech pathologist, and this kind of background helps one acquire the ability to relate to a diverse population of clients. This blog will reflect my exploration of our world through literature, media, and travel.
